I find it interesting how the clouds in the background of this photo seem to follow a similar contour as the plants in the foreground. Perhaps that is coincidence, but I like to think that it is, at least in part, because the same winds that are bending the stems of the plants are also shaping the clouds far behind them.
Jesus said that the Spirit is like the wind: you can see that it is active by the way it shapes the world around it. Often, my understanding of his activity comes when I see him doing a similar thing in more than one place. Today I saw the Spirit change a person’s heart—twice. Either event would have been remarkable on its own; together they made a picture of real beauty.
